         THE "GABRIEL" STORY

               Pam Uher started rescuing animals as a teenager in Upstate New York. She has given rabbits CPR.....returned injured wildlife to their habitats after nurturing them back to health.....de-skunked many beloved dogs....taken in battered cats......and trained many dogs for therapy work, service assistant jobs and as companion pets.

              She has been working with shelters to find animals homes through various programs she started for over 20 years. One such program in Nashville, Tennessee matched teens with older adults, who were living alone, with pets rescued from the local shelters.The teens adopted a "grandparent" and the "grandparent"adopted a companion pet -- "Adopt a Grandparent/Companion Pet Project".

             As a Therapist, Pam has used her dogs, over the years, in her work with abused and neglected children. "Joshua" the Golden Cocker...."Blue" the noble loving Black Lab......"Sam" the scavenger puppy rescued from a parking lot  became the favorite of many....."Buddy" the Black Lab rescued from a Memphis Shelter, became the beloved friend of an entire congregation at Rev. Pam's church in Dallas....and Now "GABRIEL" the English Shepherd trained to be a service dog for the disabled found Pam and is her constant companion and "Guardian Angel".             When "GABRIEL" came into Pam's life the evolution of a new business venue began........ and  Pam started "Gabriel's  Pet Care & Training" Business. A Business based on  Stewardship Principles concerning ALL the Creatures of the Earth!!!!
